Any Londoners (or further afield) up for a meet and a pigs ear?  It would be good to talk gitars n pickups.

How about Sat 21st July in somewhere central - say around Tottenham Court Road?  Jack Horner maybe?

Hmmm the logistics of getting there in time from Australia......

Anyway I hope people do actually get along. I know some of the guys meet up at LGS.

In all honesty good luck (I mean that sincerley). I have had a bit of experience getting internet forum type's into the real world and its hard work. I have tried to organize car club type events and I generally find internet chat room patrons are very hard to commit to real world events.

On the other hand the "real" world club events are always more succensful in attendance.

If, hypothetically speaking, there was an acutal BKP clubhouse and once a month guy/gals had to commit there time to attending club nights. You would initially have a very small club that would then grow (hopefully).

then when using the Forum as an ancillary form of communication to post a drinks night. Proprtionately speaking you would get a much higher attendance rate.

Anyway ramble over.... I'd be there except for a small puddle named the Indian Ocean

If there were some gals it would definitely help!  I don't know how many female forum members we have, but I'm pretty sure it's a single digit.  Anyway...

I'd be up for the London meet, although I must warn you that, in person, my repartee is even less devastatingly witty and my social skills leave much to be desired (that's the beauty of being an "internet forum type", no one has to see you and you have time to think about what you're saying).  Can't make the 21st though.

How about a Saturday in September - go to a central rubadub and have some pig's ears?

If I can get a cheap train I might bob down to the "big smoke" for this.  I'll keep an eye on the thread...

How do I enter a poll in this thread so we can see which date is September is most suitable / popular?
