Mnemic - Camden Underworld - 9/7/2007.

My all time fave band.

After support from Profane and Forever Never they came on to play one of the most brutal and heavy sets I have ever seen or heard.

Set list was:

Db'Xx'd
Door 2.12
In The Nothingness Black
Ghost
Shape of the Formless
Jack Vegas
Meaningless
Liquid
Deathbox.

They were also meant to play Overdose in the Hall of Fame and Bloodstained but due to Guillaume's damaged voice they took them out.

Honestly the best live band I've ever seen, and truly amazing stage presence and performance that any band should envy.

Make sure to see them on the next UK tour - They CANNOT be missed..
My last FM.
ESP Horizon NTII.
ESP Viper Camo.
ENGL Screamer.

I was actually at the Manchester gig, but (noodle, you're going to hate me) I only went to see the support acts :D  The first one at Manchester, Eyeful of I, are mates of mine- and $%&#ing awesome, if you like your metal with plenty of groove but also plenty of experimentation.  And they get geek points for their new EP containing songs based on the Dark Tower series by Stephen King :D

Profane were bloody awesome- I'm not really a hardcore fan, but I was extremely impressed (as I was the first time I saw them, supporting GWAR) by their range and diversity. ^_^  And as for Forever Never, is it just me, or does their lead singer bear a frighteningly strong resemblance to Jack Black?  Seriously!  He was doing the Jack Black gurning faces as well!  That made their set for me- that and the guitarist's custom (very probably hand-made, no logo on them) guitars, including a very nice seven string shaped like a Gibson V but with a Caparison-style headstock and EMGs.  Mmmmm. ^_^

O-Beast is absolutely massive - Not just his forehead, but his body and person are that of a giant.

Never laughed so hard at someone on stage - He makes the most hilarious  Metal Faces ever:

We were surrounded by Forever Never fans that pissed off after the set - Literally a third of the people had dissapeared by the time Mnemic came on.

Also spotted the two customs, that V was gorgeous, as was the super strat he had after.

But please tell me you at least SAW the Mnemic set?!

It's a toss up between Seeing the Quireboys at Bradford Rios & The Black Crowes at Shepherds Bush Empire
