Thinking of using this bridge:

What do you think?

Yummy. Too bad it's left handed
I see a rainbow rising
Look there on the horizon
And I'm coming home

Yea, Jake had one on his whitie, black with chrome saddles. Just very rare!

I went for brass to keep it close to the original and for tuning stability and tone :).

Blue guitars are taking over cos Sambo has one alsooo!!

I see the body already has 5 holes drilled for a bridge - was Bob originally going to use a Gotoh like this one?:

I do believe so, shouldn't matter too much though right?

No, the bridge should cover the screw holes.  The only problem would be if the string spacing's different - the Gotoh spacing is only 2-1/16", your brass bridge might be a wider vintage spacing (then again it might not).

blue is the new, er, sunburst, apparently.

I have no idea about the technicalities, but i think that brass colour would look nice with the blue, woogie.
