I'm sure this has been suggested numerous times, however, i think it is something that would greatly benefit the buyer. If, on the products section of the website, every one of the BKP pages for the different pups were outfitted with a Hz graph - such as one would find on the back of a microphone package in the store - i think it would help the buyer quite a bit.
Undoubtedly the "players" section of the forum is a wonderful resource, however, the tones which are produced via the individual depend largely on said individual's set up (I.E. - Head, Cab/Speakers, Recording software/competency, petals, etc.). This produces a very limited vantage point with which to really understand the true tonal qualities, more specifically the frequency response, of the pickups used. This is why I think it is almost essential to the buyer to have this resource close at hand.
I for one, even though i now own a set of BKPs, would have really liked to have that available to me... and i am sure i am not alone. If it is a work in progress, i understand, but seriously this is something that should be done, IMO.
Of course, each BKP is different due to the brilliant handwinding and tailored-to-your-needs attitude that Tim and Friends give to each pickup and customer, but obviously there is a gerneral norm that exists with say, just Riff Raffs, or just Cold Sweats - otherwise there would be no need to give them a catagorical title right? Anyways, you all probably get what i am saying by now, so i will stop whining.
