Going to the Dweezil show tonight at the Centennial concert hall. First date on the current Zappa Plays Zappa tour, should be an amazing show. We're sitting in the 2nd row so I'll be able to get a good look at some of the gear (I'll take notes).   :D  :D

There's the Roxy sg and another sg copy that was made by a fan. Last I hear Dweezil was using 2 Cornford amps, MK50H 2 and an RK100. They're supposed to be selling dvds of last years tour at the shows, have to pick one up. Here's a link to some of that as well as rehearsal blurbs.

At the Zappa Plays Zappa show in London last year, Dweezil was using a 60s SG with the two Cornfords and a Blankenship amp.  Sounded way better than Vai's Ibanez/Carvin setup.

2 fuchs, one had white knobs, the other black, couldn't read model names, even from 2nd row. Each had a fender modeler amp on the floor too. Sound was freakin' amazing. Caught one of Pete Griffin's picks at the end.  Jamie was using the Bogner. Zappa's tone was killer. They played for 2 hours 50 min, amazing show.    :D  :D  :D  :D  :D
