What pickups would you recommend for an ash guitar

Construction: Neck through body
Body: Ash
Neck: Maple+Ash
FingerBoard: Rosewood
Scale Length: 25-1/2" (648mm)
Radius: 400mm
Frets: 24
Machine Head: Die-Cast Type
Tremolo: Floyd Rose Type
Hardware: Chrome
Pickups: Humbucking x 2
Controls: 1 Volume, 1 Tone,
3 Lever Swich
Finish: Stained Oil, Natural

usual styles playing old school metal such as metallica megadeth pantera with some children of bodom norther and black label society thrown in there

so thatll be painkiller bridge in two of my guitars.... now to decide on neck pickups

also to choose covers for this as its natural and i hate open coils

Chrome covers to match the knobs and bridge?

Try get some Cream pickup rings to go with them... :p

i think that would be a bit :S

but i have some laying around from an old encore les paul that my old housemate had so ill see what its like

^ Les Paul pickup rings are arched on the bottom, don't forget, for the carved top ...

i think he means if you sand the bottom of the pickup ring so that it isnt arched

I found the VHII worked really well with Ash, although it's not the most powerful pickup.
