miracle man riffing (link to song)

having a lot of recording problems, this is my first try. the recording skipped a couple times. sorry for the sloppy playing, i'm just getting used to playing to a beat.

anyway, just a little improv riffing with my faded V through my marshall 3203 artist. not quite sure how the quality is, i'm recording with an old laptop. let me know what you think.

for some reason i can't add an attachment, so here's a link to the song. click on the one that says heavy. hi-fi should sound better.

Raw As Fvck! PDT_045 Very (VERY) bass heavy - to the point, as i am sure you have noticed, where the bass frequencies are clipping the signal, resulting in post-product distortion.  Not a bad thing if you are playing obscure (or not-so-obscure) underground music (of which i am a great fan), however if you want to master your recording console i would pay attention to the EQ and maybe, if need be, add some compression.  Some nice dissonant chords in there!

i noticed that in the recording when i got on my good computer, and was actually quite surprised. to be honest, i was kind of going for that with this song. i'm not much of a metal player, especially this heavy stuff, but it just seems to come out when i just try riffing.i guess it turned out more bass heavy because i was playing an open E pretty much the entire song. also, i believe its more because of the mahogany V. but live it doesn't quite sound that bass heavy since i'm using a 4x10 cab with a lot of distortion. also, the only way i could figure out how to record was having the computer play back while recording, so the speakers were semi-near the mic which could've affected the sound.

thanks for the comment though.
