picking spacing etc

I'm about to order my WP/CS pickup set, but I've got a few questions, what spacing is right for an Ibanez RG is the Dimarzio/Ibz pickups in it? All I will probably want to do with the pickups are just have them humbucking, but should I get four conductor hook up just in case some day i wanna do something weird with it? Also, I am ordering them without covers, because I'm in the US and I'm already getting killed on this transaction because of the GPB to USD ratio, so I don't really have the budget to be spending an extra 50 dollars on top of the already 380 dollars, but is it possible to order just the covers later on and install the myself?

and finally, how do i order them? I know you order through Tim or something if you need something custom, but all i want is a AV warpig bridge and a cold sweat in neck with no covers, so should i just order them from the website shop?

I know, lot of stupid questions but I'm getting nervous that I'm gonna screw something up

I just attempted to measure the spacing, I'm not sure what the bridge pickup in there is, cause i dont know where on the poles to measure it, but from high E to low E at the saddles on my floyd is definetly 53mm, I dont know if what is in there is f spaced, the poles seem about the same as on the neck pickup, but i guess that means i should get a 53mm bridge pickup...

When you do an order through the website there is a section at the bottom of one of the pages for comments and questions.

Just ask in there for him to check with you the spacing first as you are unsure. Tim is a really nice guy and responds very promptly.

I asked for him to contact me reguarding the bevel on the single coils pickups before shipping them to me in Australia. He did so straight away.

I like most have used the website more than a few times and never really had any problems.

If your in the USA expect about a 2 week wait. Thats just based off what other guys on the forum say. it usually takes 3 weeks to Australia.

good Question.... There's a bridge/neck option on the covered one. Just specify in the comments box at the end of the order that you want a bridge model

if you want covers on them then buy them with covers - - if you want to save money themn buy them without covers and live with it.

It is ok to add covers later, but as with all jobs on pickups, its best done by a pro so will cost $50+ anyway

I asked if it is possible to buy covers at a later date and install them myself, i do want covers, but i cant afford to pay another 50 bucks on top of 380 dollars for covers

i just ordered 1 of them now, I've decided to order them one at a time cause that way i can get exactly what i want and both of them with covers, so i just ordered my bridge warpig, and i put in the comments that i want the gloss black cover

It's not expensive to phone UK to US (or vice versa) - when I order my strings from Dr Duck in the US I'm usually on for five mins and it only ever costs around £2.00

Those details are only necessary for debit cards like Maestro - if you have a credit card like Visa or Mastercard, just leave those boxes empty, you'll be OK.
