Features a pair of BKP rebel Yell pickups with black covers

Why not purple and black zebra?
No matter, that guitar is still a real stunner.
wish I had money    Current bank balance: £5.95

Regular Zebra would have looked cool as well !
think I will do that on the next purple one I do

£5.95? Could work as a first deposit.....

I absolutely love my Ibanez but to get a better one than my RGT42 I'd have to go Prestige RGT and that's £1000+. For that kind of money I'd go with something like Ran or Feline so I could get exactly what I want. I mean, if I spent all that on an Ibanez I'd still want to change the pups and maybe the wiring so a custom build becomes a reasonable option. I know that Ran's are very reasonably priced so I assume Feline are similar.

Beautiful guitar, makes my Les Paul look a bit dowdy!

I must say though, i'm a little disturbed that the first picture is called "Adrian Thorpe Fullfront"!  that's gonna look a bit dodgy in my recent documents list!

:D That looks unbelievably fantastic Johnathon ! Can i ask how much it was ?

Are your neck joints for the single cuts Long tennon or short Johnathon as i cant remeber.

I`ve played one of Johnathons Single cuts before they play really well & the easier access to the upper frets was great i`ve got to say having seen that one i`m really tempted ! [ Again ! ]

My bank manager will hang me !!

.....being collected in the morning

This is why I couldn't be a luthier (well, that + the fact that I'm hopelessly inept at any task involving tools ) - it would break my heart to make a guitar that I absolutely loved then hand it over.

Yeah, I know that the customer would be paying me for it, but I'd probably do the luthiery equivalent of drinking all the profits :)

This particular Lion was about £2300
Pricing on Lion types starts at about :

£1400 for a simple flat top junior with all access neck.
£1750 for an arch-top
Inlays, binding and figured wood all add to the mix
£200 for block inlays rather than dots or blank
£100 for binding
£100 - £500 extra for the figured top depending on the piece of wood used and the cost to buy that piece
This example had a pretty nice quilted top that added £250 to the price

Always long tenon - set deep so that we can carve the all access neck with no loss of strenth
