I personally dont like the colour or quilted top, then again I've never liked purple guitars or ones with quilted tops :P Still looks great though, I bet that neck joint feels great.

bloody excellent work!!!

The only thing i would change with this guitar is the finishing schedule.  It looks like it has been dyed black then sanded back and sprayed purple.    Its a great look but i reckon it would look better dyed dark purple, sanded back and sprayed purple..... subtle difference i know so yes i am being picky and contrary.  The darker purple on it now suits all the black on the rest of the guitar, but i think a more vibrant purple might be interesting

But i really like this guitar and the subtle difference in how it is finished would reallly make it a guitar i could love forever - but none of that matters if the customer is happy . . .  and he so obviously is!!!

i reckon this is the kind of guitar that looks ten times better in the flesh.

I don't think the pics can do it justice either. I think that, in the flesh, you could almost drown in the depth of that finish.

I've seen a guitar with a similar red finish. I think it was a burl maple top. It looked like liquid lava.
