Wish it was Elliot-actually not a bad idea come to mention it. I am actually so sh*gged out from work, I am actually looking forward to having surgery-how screwed up is that?

I'd be up for a meet in London somewhere. Any ideas for a pub and area yet?

How about Soho?

I have never heard of this place before...

Or plenty of options in Soho...

Soho sounds good but I'll roll with the popular opinion.

But a decision must be made!

Well I work almost next the The Olde Chesire Cheese, so its good for me BUT how about the 'new' Intrepid Fox on the tip of Denmark Street?  It seems big, has lots of greebos in it, and its near lots of over priced guitar products, so it'll probably do perfectly.

A trip to Denwark Street is a must, as is any other guitar emporiums within reach.  If I'm coming to the big smoke, I'm going shopping!

whats that divey bar playing hard rock and metal..? 90% certain its on manette street - close to soho and denmark street. (crobar i think - not sure)

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=manette+street&sll=54.162434,-3.647461&sspn=11.182601,29.003906&ie=UTF8&ll=51.514705,-0.130012&spn=0.002898,0.007081&z=17&om=1

or it might be old compton street, but i dont think so.

i like the music and atmosphere there. smells of cigarettes and old beer ;)

Due to me being in the last stages of escaping London (permanantly), it would be unfair for me to chip in regarding dates.

However hopefully the date will fit in well enough to allow the meeting to be (one of) my farewell nights out :)

Well it seems like 8th is the date, but we're a bit thin on numbers.

OK - Saturday the 8th it is:

To keep the guitar theme lets meet in the bar (The TIPA bar I think) on Denmark Street next to Vintage and Rare and Rose Morris.  After a few beers we can decide where to go after that.

From what time?
