Posting a guitar...
« on: August 15, 2007, 12:19:09 PM »
I just sold one of my axes on ebay.

I need to package and post but have no idea where to get, bubble wrap, guitar box and most importantly, which carrier to use. Ideally, I would like to go somewhere, where I can package it all up and send the same day...

Any handy tips?

Thanks  :D

bubble wrap can be got at partners or stationary shops.  Make friends with your local guitar shop if you are after a box.

Personally i dont like sending stuff without a case - which also makes packaging easier

Not sure about bubble wrap etc, but for boxes try Denmark Street - they dump all the guitar and bass boxes in front of the shops.  Best to go in the morning before the rubbish van goes past.

Genius. I'll pop to my local shop and ask for a spare box.

It will be in a hard case so thats cool.

Depends if your shop does mail order, if so they'll be keeping all their boxes!!!
