You're going to like this one:
http://www.myspace.com/alestorm

even the name fits hehe.
they released only one EP so far, but got signed to Napalm recently, in the recent storm of 'battle metal' bands. so far they certainly dont offer anything groundbreaking, but they're still a lot of fun to listen to.

so, get yer mates, put this stuff on and drink yourself silly.. only good and proper use of this type of music, i say :D

Ok I give up what in the name of god is "Battle Metal" when it's at home or else where.

Did it evolve from "Skirmish Metal" (which in itself may have derived from "a bit of pushing in the playground metal" ?)

Will it become "Limited Nuclear Strike Metal"

WTF is all this label business, why not just say fecking loud guitar music

It's not as if any of us work for the NME

Sometimes it's hard to judge as so many people these days are attached to their labels.

TBH their image remind me of Jognny Kidd & the Pirates from the early 60s (or indeed Adam Ant and his gang from the years that music forgot)

Haha, well it's past-tense for me.

I hated it, music photography sucks major nads!

Weird thing is, all the music photographers i meet who've been around for a long long while don't know how to play instruments... or at least guitar.

Well if the bands can't play it dosn't logical follow that the photographers can

For most people, anything that they do for a living is as appealing as having your home decorated by Pete Docherty
