Miracle Man Neck pickup?
« on: August 26, 2007, 04:25:24 PM »
Im thinking of getting a miracle man calibrated set for my esp ec-1000. I love the miracle man bridge (ive got one in my steph carpenter signature (sc-600) but im unsure as to what the neck pickup is like. does anybody have any experiences? Cheers Kieran

i prefer the cold sweat cause it sounds more detailed, but the miracle man is louder, meatier and sustains better
it's fat and powerful but doesn't have a lot of picking attack like the bridge pickup (if you're looking for it, you should order a neck painkiller)
it doesn't have nothing in common with an emg 85
i'd compare it with a dimarzio air zone with less midrange and a bit more treble

It's perfectly useable, but IMO the CS is vastly superior clean.

As has already bene said, the MM neck is quite beefy & balances well with the MM bridge.

Hope you like them, MM are great pickups :)
