I liked the Bassman module though the Vox was great too.I haven't listened to the blackface module-a bit busy today.

Bassman, Vox and Deluxe are all great, really great, Deluxe maybe in between the other two somehow. Twin not so much my cup of tea.

Guess if I'd have one, I'd start with Vox and SL2.

I think Seymour Duncan had a similar concept back in the 1980's.  Called the "Convertible" or somesuch.

Supposed to sound good but wasn't reliable.

yes, but from what I've heard (not tried first-hand, mind), the Randall isn't as convincing

Not bad, just 3 months delay >lol<

Seriously, that's great news. Now you HAVE TO post clips as soon as it arrives.

So you got 3 high gain modules? You are a crazy dude, but very sympathetic  :P

Seymour Duncan (yes, that Seymour Duncan) made a similar amp in the '80's called the "Convertible".  I think it had also different tube effects that could be plugged in in various orders.

I haven't seen, heard or played one for years, but it was supposed to sound good but have serious reliablility problems.  I remember it sounding awesome, but the guy playing it was a freakishly good player, so that's not surprising.

This guy could play a Wal-Mart/ASDA guitar through the cheeziest knock-off amp and in his hands it would sound divine.
