Flying V wiring

Hi Guys,
Noob to the forum here, but certainly not a noob to the wonders of Bareknuckle pickups.  I ran into them for the first time last year when a chap called Bob Johnson of Legra Guitars recommended them for my custom made Les Paul Standard Doubleneck (http://www.legraguitars.co.uk/dn126.htm) for the 12 string neck.  It has unpotted Burstbucker #2 & #3 on the 6 string neck, but that's due to change before the end of the year.  Since then I've implanted a pair of Riff Raffs into my Shaftesbury Les Paul Custom, and I now have a calibrated pair of Stormy Mondays on order for my Orville by Gibson Les Paul custom.

However.......

I have a couple of projects on my work bench (I do like having cheapo knackered guitars that I bring back to life.......as long as the woods good, anything is possible!) and one of them is an unbranded Flying V with a set neck, and what I assume is a lightweight body made from a wood that is exceedingly similar to the Korina in my friends Gibson Historic Flying V.
Now I've rebuilt this bucket, and refinished the whole body into what I figure is a Gibson-esq natural Korina.  It now has nice new hardware, gold Grovers, and my old pair of glorious Gibson Classic 57's on board, but I'm having issues with the wiring......

1.  I can't seem to find a good schematic anywhere for a V (only 3 controls.....1 tone, 2 volume)
2.  I've read that 300K pots were original on the 58 V's.  Now that seems sensible to me, as they'll knock down some of the extra treble that the Korina gives over normal mahogany, but what do you guys reckon?

If I can get this working and sounding even better than it does at the moment with the shoddy stock wiring, then I might be coerced into buying even more Bareknuckles!!
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot!

Try this link for the wiring, they recommend 500K pots:

Here's another one, pretty much the same but drawn differently:

My Edwards V is wired exactly like that, but with a 0.022 cap.  I have 500K volume pots and, just for the hell of it, a 250K tone.
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Thanks guys,
I did a bit of ferretting about on the Gibson forums and it transiperd that the original 58 flying V's did indeed have 300K pots, but somewhere along the line the volume pots were increased to 500K ones in line with the Les Pauls of the era.

I'm going to go with Phillys idea and stick 500k pots on board it with a 300K for the tone and see what it sounds like!
