But seriously, I never have any luck on eBay. You know those brave/crazy people who list something starting at 99p with no reserve and it sells for £500? I do that and it sells for £1.19.
i am the same. i dont mind so much with the stuff i make because i understand the risk of buying an unknown guitar of ebay, that why i dont out much of my own stuff on there!!!
I get a bit bloody miffed though when i see something go for £400 one day and mine goes for £200 the next. that happened with my old voxac30 ss.
If i had said the vox would make you sould like the beatles i might have got £400 - that was what the other seller did, he also made no mention of the fact it was a solid state vox in his ad..
At the moment i am sellign a small vintage amp and it has had no bids yet - i am going to be kicking myself if it goes for £50 bloody quid, has to be worth more than that
I have come to the conclusion i am too honest, i wont sell a solid sate vox as if it was a classic valve ac30 and i wont sell a 45 year old amp and pretend it doesnt bloody hum a bit.
from now on its going to be a blurry photo and a one word innacurate description - i bet stuff starts going through the bloody roof!!!
