:D Ok guys i have a heads up for `ya. I`ve just bought & collected my Yamaha "Lord Player" in Black. You guys have seen it on the other thread i did a few days ago. The guy i dealt with has a partner that imports a load of collectable guitars from all over the world, but mainly Japan. He opperates under the name of "Captainfugijen" on Ebay & currently has a load of fantastic Guitars going at really good prices. Because the collection is getting to big he`s having to sell some of the guitars so his willing to do deals & good prices. He has a beautiful Greco LP in at the moment thats currently on Ebay see here :

I saw this evening that he's just sold an Orville by Gibson LP Goldtop for £625.

Wish I'd advertised mine first, I could have undercut him on that price... :(

:D The Orville in question had a big ding out of it that had been treated but not painted over so he was selling it cheaper. But it tells you how much a good quality Orville must be worth if a badly blemished one is sellerble at £625.

But seriously, I never have any luck on eBay. You know those brave/crazy people who list something starting at 99p with no reserve and it sells for £500? I do that and it sells for £1.19.

I'll post some pics of my new Orville By Gibson on here pretty soon.......managed to get hold of a beautiful flame topped Custom from a guy in the States who refused to ship anywhere other than the US, so I got him to mail it to my mate in Reno :D

Just some silly sod decided to stick a DiMarzio Super Distortion in it so it's waiting on a matched pair of 'Stormy Mondays' from Tim, just as soon as he gets his new stock of gold covers
