Anyone got info on the Sheffield 1200 speakers?
« on: September 28, 2007, 04:45:18 PM »
Hi all,

I'm trying to find some technical info on the Sheffield(R) 1200 12 inch speakers in my 5150 slant cabinet, eg sensitivity, etc.
Does anyone know where I can find this info?

I'm thinking of saving up to get something like 2 G12 Century speakers and a couple of G12K-100s in an X-pattern instead. The bass seems a little flabby, at high volume, and I'd like to tighten it up and give a little volume boost, if possible :)
It'll be a while before I can afford this, I'm just planning my next GAS :)

Cheers, Roo

So no-one here has any info on these speakers?

They seem to be the most information-elusive speakers in the world, despite being put in a major manufacturer's cabs!

Try emailing Peavey, surely they're best placed to give you that info.
