Miracle Man "clips" - Demo tracks on myspace!

Hi all,

We've just had two days in a studio to get three of our eleven-or-so tracks down, and I'm proud to present them on our myspace page:

I'm the guitarist, and for those of you who are interested, here are the equipment 'stats':

D'Addario 13 gauge strings (imaginative band name, eh? :D) picked with Dunlop's finest 3mm stubby triangles
Zoom G2.1u
Peavey 5150-II loaded with JJ ECC84 tubes in the preamp stages and Svetlana Winged-Cs in the power amp
ISP Decimator Pro-Rack G working overtime to quell the beast
Peavey 5150 Angled Cab with stock Sheffield speakers
2x mics (sorry, I didn't get the mic details from the studio!)

Have to say not my thing either really, but some good rhythmical ideas there, and certainly a powerful sound, although (again personal preference), I think there is maybe a bit too much all going on in the lower registers so reduces clarity a bit..but hey - i'm guessing that wasn't what you were looking for?!

Is this the setup that squeels like a stuck pig (sorry im being lazy and not checking the other forums!)? Im just wandering if the amount of bass/low mid might be doing something? just a thought...

Yeah, this is the setup that screams like an absolutely beeyotch, until the Decimator gets to work!

The lows are pretty high, I guess. I think I might be addicted to the feeling when I hit that low A string, and your guts kind of wobble a bit...  The bassist doesn't seem to mind, we've tried to get reasonable separation between guitar and bass, despite the very low tuning. Personally, I think we've separated them quite well, but I'm biased!!

Any comments useful, tbh - all constructive criticism is worthwhile. I can understand people not liking the style, etc - everyone has different tastes - but if there are any pertinent comments that anyone has about this stuff, I'd be really pleased to hear them!

I really like the tone on darklight very clear and heavy. Incredibly tight too.
