Now they are REALLY starting to piss me off!! They still think I'm advertising!! Unbelievable! :D

This concept that being "overly positive" is "advertising" is utter bollocks.  Would it be OK if you said "my Nailbomb is the best pickup I've ever owned, however on the downside one of the staples holding the box together was slightly askew"?  :?

And anyway, surely a statement can only be "advertising" if the person making the statement has something to gain from it - because they're the manufacturer, a seller or distributor, or someone being paid to advertise the product or service.  You're none of those things - just an enthusiastic customer.

UG is full of obnoxious opinionated little brats (with some obvious exceptions, Dave ;) )

As such it has some heavy-handed rules and an unpleasant and inflexible atmosphere.

Its why I stopped going there a couple of years ago. Give me the informed and laid back people here or the chaos of HC any day  :lol:

^ ^I haven't been on UG in several years either, I wonder why? Most depressing forum I've ever used, god only knows why it's so popular. That said I hardly use this forum these days either. Suppose it's just lucky that it's still one of my FF homepage tabs.

Only place where I hang out in UG anymore is the Metal forum, I've become a 'regular' there so it's not that I get accused of every single mistake or joke I make

the metal forum community there is very strict towards n00bs and such but if you know the rules and come along with the people there, it's a great place

Well guys, I think this forum and the people here are much more friendly and much more helpful.... There at the UG you can never get as good and as helpfull replies as here...

after all, you are the ones using "the best pickups money can buy" (as I stated on the UG forum, hahaha), so you probably know whats best ahahaha

and yeah, HC is crazy, but good fun. I actually still like UG (no idea why)... i suspect it's because it was my first "real" forum..
