i was pretty surprised by the general reaction. there is the occasional valid point in the replies though.
pleased this forum isn't like that... before i heard about the BKP forum i was happy with dimarzios and a modller. while i still think that setup has some sort of advantages (cost for example), i've learnt so much about tone just by hanging out here from time to time. i actually enjoy playing the guitar now, rather than just knocking out a quick recording for a tune i was working on.
