MM & Trilogy Suite Clean, Crunch & Evil!
« on: August 04, 2005, 09:39:39 PM »
I knocked this clip up tonight. Charvel Model 6, Koch Powertone II, Loadbox II 4 x 12 Angled Koch Cab. It's Neck/Middle Trilogy Suite for the clean. The Jimi bit on crunch gain on 3   is the neck TS. The other Jimmy bit is the MM on crunch a bit of this and that on Ultra Gain on 10 with MM  and my poor attempt at 'In the Still Of The Night' from Whitesnakes 1987 album using a MM Which should by rights be the new Cold Sweat on the ultra gain channel with the gain backed of to 7

I had to drop the MP3 quality down so as not to take the piss on the M/byte

I'm no good at getting the tone of these pups and amp into the recording 'But I learn Meester Faulty I Learn' :?

The amp has serious crunch!!!!

The clean sound reminds me very much of the clean sound on Natural Science by Rush!!

July was insane for me, John, but things are now returning to normal.
Pop onto MSN when you have a chance and we'll catch up!

I'll be getting a CPR compressor soon; I just sorted out my next set of BKPs as well as some work that Laz Gajic is doing for me. Once I know how much all of that is going to cost, I will be able to budget in the CPR.

So these HBE CPR   Are they the best compressors you've ever tried Ben? I was kind of seduced by the Electro Harmonix Black Finger, which uses valves. It was the advert that got me as I haven't managed to find a shop who has one in stock. I know you don't like their gear so I'm going to go with you on this one! What sort of dough are they asking in the states for them?

Yes, short of some really pricey stuff.
