Shiva/Einstein?

And is it you playing the rhythm too? Or is it a part of the backing track?

Einstein, played both, Rhythm and Lead, they are actually played with exact same settings, gain is just around 11 o'clock, which gives more of a "brownish" sound?

I moved the mix away from the speaker cone for the lead though, thus the different flavours. Mic positioning is still the most effective sound design tool.

Nice again Hunter, I'm tempted to get some RYs for my RG,
I see a rainbow rising
Look there on the horizon
And I'm coming home

Oops, I'm getting confused :D
How would you compare the RYs to the VHIIs in especially in terms of midrange and output?

Hm, output similar, the VHII has more hi-mid/treble content and is a bit thinner/tighter in the low end, great for chunky rock rhythm stuff or tapping.

Thanks indeed, yes MO rules, obviously my version is far far away from his mega-clean twang on the original. First I wanted to do a clean - to crunch - to distortion version, which shows all 3 flavours, but then the last one was just so much fun, I stuck with it

I can see why you went with that tone.  :)

Good playing too.
