Hey guys

Just wondering who is going this year? No bareknuckle pickups will be there sadly. Last year i went to both music live and london guitar show and music live was way better so I'm deffo going this year.

I'll be there on the Saturday this year. How come no BKP? it's one of THE best stands there, it makes it worth while!

Due to one of the guys at BKP having treatment for cancer I took the decision to pass on Music Live this year as I felt it would be too much with everything else that is going on. Rest assured we'll be at London Guitar Show 2008 and more than likely Music Live 2008 too.

Kerry King's gonna be there!
I can't think of a better reason to go than that....

Shame the BKP guys won't be there too - understandable considering the circumstances and I wish you all the best.

I found last years Music live to be a bit of a dissapointment - it seemed that very few people were buying anything!

i went for one day as i had some guitars on a stand, i dont really mind that they didnt sell because it is a bit more specialist but the guy doing the stand only really made money from novelty items like flashing drumsticks and printed plecs!!

I suppose there is nothing wrong with going for a good old browse but brum is a long was to come for lots of companies if there isnt going to be much sold

yeah i know that - i am only 30 minuntes away!

but i think given the choice a lot of northern companies would rather travel further for a london based show thats slightly more profitable and that suits the southerners too.  There isnt huge media coverage of music live either compared to the london shows.  so if ML isnt the most profitable and isnt as good publicity it suddenly seems a lot further to travel  and a lot more effort for those companies further away.  I dont know if this is the case for BKP but its certainly a long way from devon

I've always liked the trip to Brum from Hatfield. Usually a mate drives up there and we just have a good laugh trying to not get lost.

I'm hoping there's going to be a few more Jacksons about on the Fender stand this year. Last year wasn't that good on the Fender stand.
