PGR 4
« on: October 20, 2007, 08:44:23 PM »
I got PGR 4 (Project Gotham Racing) today for the 360, very cool game, graphics are superb, races are fun, what more do you need? This game is worth buying even if you already have PGR 3.

If anyone else has PGR4 PM me for my 360 username if you want to see my pathetic scores and make yourself feel better :)

who really needs it!! what we really need are fancy guitars and a wii with zelda - nothing else matters after that!!

... fancy guitar coming soon - infact i glued the neck blank together today for sue's guitar - i am really exited about this one.  I may eat the wood, it looks tasty and i am slightly drunk at this point!!!  i think i may chew myself out before i get to the good stuff

The Wii is a great console, brilliant for just a bit of fun, but you need a 360 (or PS3) for that OMFG! factor :)

Great news about the guitar, looking forward to some updates on your usual thread :) Sue is massively excited about it.

That happens on this board, your time will be GMT on the board, but we're still on BST I think.

360s are great, the acheivement system is really good and seems to make games last longer :) If anyone wants to add me to see my poor gamerscore, my gamertag is Tom the B34st  :D

I agree the acheivments are a great idea, If you know you can score a few more points you tend to play more, and it also encourages you to play with different techniques.

38thBeatle PGR4 isn't a straight racer game, it's a bit more toward an arcade style, there is no modding of cars (except the paintwork) and the races vary between straight races against others to cone challenges (pass between cone gates, or knock over a certain number in a time limit), checkpoint races etc...

The game is based around earning Kudos points which you get for cool maneuvers and winning. It's always a balance between going round a corner sideways coz it's cool and earns Kudos, and crashing into the barriers and looking like a prat. I tend to do the latter a lot.

Graphics are great, the weather atmospheric are great, the cars look sexy, and it's fun to play. If you like throwing a car around this is the game for you!

Bit late on this one but I've only just got round to downloading the demo. Pretty good fun, I'll try and see if someone will buy me it for my birthday :)
