Just picking up on the comparisons to PRS, they are both great brands, but bear in mind that Hamers are made by 6-7 people by hand and PRS are mostly made in a factory using CNC-I'm not saying either way makes a better guitar but that's part of why they are expensive. Hamers wood choice is top shelf too.

Good point, but funnily enough the Hamers I've owned didn't feel any more hand-made than my PRSs.  In fact I'd say they sometimes felt a little soulless, like there was a magic ingredient missing somehow.

Then we are going to talk about extra senses not supported by science in any way.

fools, its got to be A4 mules in that thing...

I'm building a couple of 58 reissues at the moment

Gulp... "58 reissues" ... this term makes me think "traditional looking V"... I can think of least two people on this forum (me included) who might have more money than sense and who fancy occasionally looking like Andy Powell or (with a blond wig) a late-70s/early-80s KK Downing in the privacy of our own living rooms...

Are we talking korina like the originals or mahogany like the later re-issues?

Please put our minds at rest and tell us that they're actually a custom order

It's the 58 style with square shoulders, half scratchplate  and KORINA body an neck

Thinking we will actually play Argus through it via our sustainiac based test rig/bedding in system now you mention it

Yes - they are for someone, but we have sorted out the templates and quirks to make them easy(ish) to do now and be accurate the original ones
