this is the trouble with Gibson, if they stick to re-issues they get criticised, but if they try anything different they get crucified!
The problem is, they hardly ever do anything in the way of either (a) subtle refinements or (b) genuine (useful) innovations.
It's all idiotic stuff like giant mirror scratchplates, gimmicky useless hardware (the SG GT anyone?) and novelty finishes that could only appeal to children. And when they
do come up with something
new, like the Digital LP, it's usually badly thought out.
