I'm not a fan of all the marketing after his death but those Razorback V's are killer!

Their predecessors 10 years earlier were all listening to Kurt Cobain and (possibly) buying Jagstangs.

damn - i think that was me!!  never got around to buying a jagstang but i really wanted one!!

I was a big pantera fan  as well but never really tried to play the stuff.  I am and always have been  a pants guitarist so nirvana is just about my level

In my 'younger days'    I was a massive Dimebag and Pantera fan.

For a few years I had a cherry red, korean made Dean ML that I put a Duncan Custom in the bridge of, and a 59 in the neck.

I always liked the guitar but eventually part exchanged it as it didn't really 'fit' me.

Trust me, those and Vs are the worst guitars to have if you're short with a gut like me

I've been clinically depressed but looking like a TIT with a Dean would have only made things worse. (apologies to Dean owners)

i did nearly buy a old ml in the 90's.  It had a 3 colour burst  (green, red and yellow iirc) and a fully scalloped maple fretboard - strange looking thing but i had to stare at it for hours.  It looked chessy but i still think of it as 'one that got away'

the whole image whoring he had before and even worse AFTER his death is pissing me off a bit. Yeah he should be remembered, but should he be remembered as Dean's main marketing feature?

I agree with 99% of the positive comments about Dime but I too find it really disturbing that Dean are using him as a core marketing platform. The extent to which they rely on his image after his death just doesn't feel right.  :?

yes this is pretty sickening, but his wife doesn't seem to care!!! She's adopted Trivium and those guys are loving all the Dime gear. I'm not buying what they're a-sellin'.

most of dime branded stuff its utter cr@p anyway, apart from the custom shop axes. (EDIT): IMO

One of the guys here had a deadly black razorback with a gold warpig... now that was pretty "sick" (must spend less time on US based forums).

I like dime he's a legendary guitarist. But I always have to spend first 10 minutes getting used to his tone. And yes I have all the classic Pantera as I am a huge Anselmo fan too. He's a crazy tw@t.

Darryl was'nt married, that's his girlfriend who seem's to have been/turned into a Sharon Osborne marketing machine now he's left us
