sometimes its nice to play a slightly rough and ready guitar and extract a bit of passion, and other times you want to be mothered with a guitar which almost plays itself. tonight was the case for the later.

did some work on the feline last weekend and consequently decided to do the next few gigs with it. anyway i was a bit stressed at the show, was a bit non-ideal situation etc etc. was really nice having the ability to switch my guitar playing on autopilot - no fret buzzing with heavy handed chords. reasonably fast (for me) runs on the neck came off well too with little concentration. polished frets made slides and vibrato a breeze.
