someone got a deal!

Yeah, I was watching that (NOT with a view to buying!   ).

I was expecting a big rush of bids at the last minute, quite shocked it didn't happen.

It's the colour - I don't think it's that popular?

Apparantly my Mira is at home!  Roll on 4pm......

Edit:  My wife's just sent me a pic on my mobile - I've got some crazy swirly mahogany figuring going on!  It looks great!  I hope it doesn't affect the tone........

They are, aren't they!  :D  The only guitar I have which beats the Mira in that respect is my Melody Maker, and that's been maturing for 40-odd years!

I see what you mean about the crazy swirly figuring!  I think in some ways mahogany can look much more attractive than flame maple and all those exotic woods.

that wood grain looks like you'd have gently pulled those rings down with your right forearm over like 50 years of playing ... kind of ...

Congrats for your oops

Indeed!  I've not seen a piece of mahogany with curls/swirls before but I really like this one.  It sounds better the more you dig in too?  Not to be treated with kid gloves.  It's a very clear and bright guitar, which I think will work really well through a cranked amp.

I picked up my Epi SG as a comparison and it now sounds all dull and dark.  Arse.  I'm really going to enjoy rehearsing with the Epi tonight aren't I?  Not.....

Sweet. That looks very nice.

This isn't helping my situation.
