How would you describe/compare the sound of the Laney?

So the AOR 30 club now reaches 3, good stuff Joe! They are great little amps, I got mine when they first came out, had to wait ages for it, but worth it!

I would say they are smoother than a JCM800, less crunch and middle focus..but they tend a little towards mush at the bottom end unless its through a decent 4x12.

Hunter - I did a basic noodling clip previously as I wanted to test it through my G12H speaker:

Got a bit carried away, so apologies for that! :)

Nice one Joe! I've got a head version and it's great! Haven't been getting much use lately but I'm gonna have a go on it again!

I nearly had a 30 watter head (same as TO's i think) but SOMEONE outbid me by £2, my max bid was £120 :(

Cheers for the comments guys!

Yeh it's a heavy bar-steward, i wasn't expecting it to be that heavy. But when it sounds that good i don't mind :D

Has anyone got any recommendations for settings?

What speaker does it have in it? I bet a G12H30 anni would sound great with it.

I find it better to leave the boosts off and use an overdrive or clean boost to get the gain. Also, if you have an EQ or a volume pedal you can stick it in the loop and use it as an attenuator. This amp starts to sound crazy once you get both volume past 6!
