My turn.

Let's see ... I'm 43, married, 2 daughters, 2 cars, 2 cats .... um too many 2's there  :D

I left school at 18, joined the forces, left at 27 and went elsewhere to do a job that's been mentioned already in this thread.

I've played guitar since I was 11 and I've been playing live since 1995, without a break. I'm currently in a covers band doing weddings, parties etc but that will come to an end at the end of June and I'm taking a rest  :D

As I get older I find myself playing more and more Blues. I figure at the present rate, in 2 years, I'll be the size of a house and playing a guitar called .. 'Lucille'.

I currently have 7 guitars (5 elec and 2 acoustic) which i really need to thin out a bit .... unless I see any more I like first

Sounds like a cool life to me! A family and been playing live for 13 years. Nice one!!

17 years old, completed my GCSEs pretty well, started first A level year and hated it- dropped out.

Now preparing to go to college in september to do A levels in Maths, Physics, English, Music Tech, in the hope of getting a place on the Surrey Tonmeister course.

Been playing guitar for about 5/6 years. A couple of those in a band playing live and getting paid a little bit here and there.

That's it!

:D

Where am I?  Returning to this forum after a layoff of ~6-7 months.  Lost my job, got screwed out of over $250,000 by my former employer, had to go into Chapter 11 bankruptcy, lost my car (a SMOKIN' black Audi S4 Cabriolet --- ARGH!), lost my faithful canine companion of 12 1/2 years (via natural causes, not the bankruptcy), lost my house on the beach in North Carolina, lost all of my guitars --- INCLUDING my 99 Les Paul Standard with raw nickel Crawlers.  (Some fellow in Iceland got a GREAT deal on a Les Paul, so I'm happy for him; however, anyone who doesn't think that loss of that LP hurt me as bad as the canine loss needs to think again.)  I'm currently putting together a Strat copy from a Warmoth body and a few random parts I have laying around because that's all I can afford.  However, things are on the upswing, as I have a new job (albeit in Mississippi) and my creditors are S-L-O-W-L-Y being paid off.  Glad to see that others here are doing well.  Thanks for letting me vent, and glad to be back!   :D

I'm 18 and still shitee at guitar. I've done my bloody A-Levels which were about as much fun as anal rape.
I'm now at Uni in Brum doing sound engineering and production which is a lot more fun, although there's a suprising amount of actual work involved.
Currently I'm eating Raspberry Country Crisp (the breakfast of the gods), and watching some weird-ass 'magibon' video. Take life a minute at a time :D
LOVING the Mules!

One burnt samosa, one decently reheated samosa, cold from last night.
Listening to whatever iTunes throws up (strange world by Iron Maiden as I type, now Last Nite by the strokes.)
I have my GCSEs soon, predicted the moon, but in reality haven't bothered with any coursework so an even smattering of As and Bs I expect. fail at music
