lol i'm fairly sure the whole idea of 'relicing' a guitar in a factory is utterly stupid, especially when fender does it.NO, you can NOT just drop a strat down a flight of stairs, call it a "Rory Gallagher Tribute" and sell it for 5 effing thousand dollars!
Probably worse actually as the relicing process on the lemondrops involves drilling holes for klusons and then redrilling for spertzels to give the appearance of being modded.
I'm lucky enough to have my own relic-er. He's my brother, and all you need to do is lend him anything, and it comes back a fortnight later, looking like it's been used hard for thirty years.He works on everything as well, not just guitars.
What about this? It is a new build using many original parts with a Rebel Yell and 2 Mother's Milks. I think it is perfect :D
my guitar is 25yrs old it doesn't need relicing.. it's already done through time.
Is that reliced or just old though?
