If you haven't lost consciousness yet, here's something to turn the sorrow into confusion... mess up your brain a little:

Knock yourself out mate. (I can't figure out a single one for the life of me).

Three dots:

Quote
So he paints a green dot on all three foreheads

Everyone sees green so they raise there hand.

Person A sees green on B and C. Raises hand.
Person B sees green on A and C. Raises hand.
Person C sees green on A and B. Raises hand.

So it is overlapping and thusly everyone has to be green.

Ah but they raise their hand if they see even ONE green dot. It's killer. I just found the answer somewhere, but it's insanely difficult.

Noone else spoke up... If one of the others had seen one red and one green, or two reds, they would've known by pretty simple logic what they were.

So the fact that noone said what they were means the other two are seeing two greens, hence, you're green :)

[edited: 'cause the guy in the post below this pointed out I'd gotten confused in explaining it, lol]

Oops, I meant to say none of them said they knew what they were.

If any of the other people had known what they were for sure, they would've said so, so that means the other two people had to see two greens (the only combination that makes certainty impossible directly), which means the original person has to be green.

There're a lot of harder puzzles on that page though :)

If anyone wants an incredibly annoying yet completely addictive game, have a go on this http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/n.html

It kills a LOT of time.

Donovanx I hope your ok mate! We all get down on things from time to time. Questioning marriage with your wife whilst both drinking whisky sounds like a case for better the devil you know! What ever she said I wouldn't read into it too much. I try and find humour in absolutely everything nowadays and I've got to say it works for me!
Whiskey is great isn't it, love it!  8)

I'm good Johnny. My wife and I are very real and we both just realise that if it wasn't for 'circumstance' then marriage probably wouldn't have raised its head.
I find as I get older, I am becoming addicted to bare faced truth, their is something very refreshing about it and something very cool about being able to listen to it, without either party falling out.
As for whiskey, it's starting to become my poison of choice. I love the stuff, I'm certainley starting to develop a taste for it.

Nothing more real than stark reality, that's all I've ever spoken, I can't stand the fluffy world of delusion, it's gets you nowhere! Whisky is nectar!
I'm getting right into Islay single malts, with all the peat, smoke and tar flavours. Check out the whisky thread in here somewhere, it's very informative!!

I have got back from the day wandering around Olympia. In fact things were rescued somewhat by the fact that there was a solo guitar player there playing an open tuned Strat -playing the blues and bloody good he was too. O got chatting and he comes from Brighton (not far from me) and is playing a gig in Farnham next month and so I'll go watch if I am free that night-it is a thursday and so that should be ok. The whisky I had last night worked a treat and I feel a whole lot better today and I hope you do too Donovan.
