Beauty. Someone I know from another forum got the same guitar about 6 months ago and he loved it. A pair of BKPs seems to be all it needs to reach perfection.

Nice buy. Did you have any problems bringing it back in from the States - import tax or anything like that?

I paid duties - But probably could have got away without if I had tried.

And the pickups will be either Nailbomb/Cold Sweat or Holy Diver/Cold Sweat - So undecided =(

One thing I don't like in some ESPs are the LTD Deluxe (I think) headstocks. The one that looks like some bored RnD worker who decided it would be fun to incoporate his previous job as a dildo factory supplier into the design.

But that's just me. Most likely.

The OFR one is alot more expensive and the 2008 colour is hideous.

I bought it from a guy on Ebay and had it sent to the house of my family in Boston Opro.

I saw alot of ESPs on 48th street in NYC though, no Horizons though - Lots of MIIs and Vipers etc.

So what happened to the camo viper, then? You still loving that? How do the guitars compare (clearly they're quite different in style...)?

Oh, and this thread is worthless* without (sound) clips! :)

*it isn't, of course :)

Ask and you shall receive - This was done with a PC Mic, in one take at 8:30 in the morning - I haven't slept all night. How brutal am I!

ESP Horizon straight into Engl Screamer at bedroom levels.

Rhythm was done with Bridge 59.

First solo was done with bridge 59, 2nd solo with neck jazz.

Sorry about the cr@p sound, was just me having some fun - Will be buying one of those portable tascams soon, like the one Dave bought.

Another cr@p recording done to try out some backing tracks I downloaded.

Pretty good backing track - Awful recording again, the mic can't pick up any notes - its quite funny.
