My Wez made guitar is finally ready although I still haven't seen it in the flesh. It will be at least a week before I get my hands on it, it's going to be a long week

Riff Raff pup's, black limba body, spalted maple top, flame maple neck, ziracote fret board.

The inlay is the based on my pet lizard (desert iguana) called Smaug.

Lovely job Wez. With all this great gear from you and Jonathan popping up on this forum I'm going to have to give myself a kick in the arse and start coming up with something a bit more exotic.

He is made out of reconstituted malachite.

Awesome - did you come up with the design? Kind of looks like an iceman but with a shorter horn on the treble side.

thx everyone, i am really happy with the way this build went. Some superb wood on this build and it sounds awesome

I only strung it up properly this morning so want to give it a little time to setttle in before i let sue have it!!

The design is mine, i have done a few like this before and i think there will be a plain black one with solid paduak body and neck available at some point (blatent plug). It was based on the fernandes ravelle but most of the top half is different and everytime i make one i end up shaping it slightly differently to suit the wood

_tom_ : if you like satin bursts on spalted maple this is finishing tomorrow so someone could get a bargain:

really happy with how the inlay turned out, i had some grander ideas but in the end i think this suits the guitar better.
