Went to see Tropic Thunder last night, it wasnt as good as I thought it was going to be but still wasnt shiteeee. Tom Cruise is actually good in it which really surprised me as I usually hate him in any film he's in

Watched Speed Racer round my mates house after that, pretty shiteee film with really annoying characters, but the cgi and car "fight" scenes are great. Also, Christina Ricci :P

SPEED RACER IS AMAZING.

Best cinema experience I have EVER had, me and 4 friends sitting in an empty cinema, just like, $%&#ing amazing.

Yep, I really like the first couple but then they went downhill a bit.  Long time since I've seen them though.

Possibly, this goes without saying, but if you like Phantasm/Don Coscarelli's work in general, there are much worse ways to spend a couple of hours than watching Bubba Ho-Tep.

I bought a copy of Once Upon A Time In The West a while back as I have always loved it. Sure would like to see a restored full screen version though.

I'm pretty sure this was exactly the same long version as appears on the 2-disc special edition DVD.  Of course that was a digital restoration, now they've done a full restoration on film.

Went to see Quantum of Solace last night, though I see why some critics have panned it, I absolutely loved it! I (personally) can see why Bond progress's & does the things that he does in the movie. A couple of times the film didn't explain itself properly, but overall it's brilliant. Recomended

Scary movie is the best thing on at the moment I think. I agree about The Hils have eyes, utter shite.

Any news on Saw V? Worth the watch? I think its at number 2 in the cinema ratings at the moment, somehow that High School Musical thing is number 1 :?

Scary Movie is ok, it has its moments and is better than every other spoof american film that followed it :) Which isnt exactly hard, I suppose.

Have joined the new film club at uni, they're showing Memento this week which looks pretty good..

saw the new bond, thought it was a decent edition, though alot was unexplained (like horsehead thought). preferred the last one though. daniel craig is a great bond i think.
