Philly, that's the cab with the G12K-100 in, isn't it? Finally something we both like! :P

'Fraid not Roo, mine has a Vintage 30   .  They seem to vary the speakers in a fairly random manner without bothering to tell anyone.

I'm sure I'd still like it with a G12K-100 though!

No! You'll have to wait like the rest of us (but I hope you'll like it when you see it...) :)

Gibson must have improved them drastically. I had an Orange tube amp in the 70s and it was deeply unimpressive next to a Marshall.

Depends... my PPC112 has a Vintage 30 in it. But some were made with the K 100.

Do Gibson own Orange? Didn't know that.

I guess it comes down to what you like, Orange amps have their own sound, if you aren't keen on it then it's not the amp for you. However, if you do like it, they are awsome amps. My RV50 works with everything from clear, chiming strat cleans (Irish Tours) to filthy, dirty warpigs.

I thought Orange were meant to be ahead of the time back then :? MV, FX loop, valve swappage simplicity or something, inbuilt reverb.

Gibson were the distributor in the US for a short period so they appeared in Gibson's catalogues for a while.
