We'll see if they catch on. It's ridiculous making paypal compulsory!

you wil just have to accept paypal fees as part of the ebay selling process and build some of it into your 'standard postage rate' or add £5.00 for packaging the amp. I personally would not pay a seller's paypal fees and it is against ebay rules to do so.

I have offered e-cheque or personal cheque so they can take it or leave it!

+1

Or just build it into your minimum selling price.  Nobody likes suffering PayPal fees or selling fees, but we all know what they're going to be - before we start selling.

Yeah they are YOUR fees, I'd be a bit annoyed if I was expected to pay for them if i was buying. If someone also asked for an extra £3 to cover listing fees you would be peeved, never mind Paypal stuff. I personally like using Gumtree to sell stuff, free and I've shifted a bass, amp and guitar pretty easily.

I think I`ll look at gumtree. Is it easy to do?

Doddle, make your listing and leave a contact number or email addy and people get in touch. It's just online small ads basically.
