I think you might be taking this whole thing a bit far.. A guitar is a guitar, I'm pretty sure it defines nothing about your sexual orientation.

I with Oppo  - that guitar that Philly showed above is totally hideous. Less hideous and less offensive than a Telecaster, but still totally hideous. Yes, that's possible.
As proven in the previous topic where people put up pictures of people playing telecasters, there is NO-ONE on this planet who can "de-gay" a telecaster. It's a real shame, but there it is.
By the way, this is nothing about the sound or music, this is purely aesthetics. Having said that, I've yet to hear in person a telecaster either played well or sounding nice - but that's only my admittedly very limited experience.

You're 100% correct, but they'll never give up...

Of course it's well known that people who are obsessed with other people's (and guitars'  :roll: :roll: ) sexuality tend to have deep-rooted "issues" of their own.   It's not healthy to bottle it up.

I'm sure Roo and Oppo secretly spend hours fiddling with themselves over at the Telecaster Forum under assumed names.  Sometimes they even sneak into Country & Western bars for a quick fix of Pink Paisley, then drink heavily to get over the shame....

Arguable, but you will without doubt find an inordinate number of hideous, hideous looking guitars. Always good to put a warning in the title so as not to offend those of us with taste ;)

You are a funny one.  It's ok though, Philly, because i know such kidding is inspired from your daydreams and disturbing fantasies (whatever they may entail - i am not interested in probing that imagination of yours) about us going to Country & Western bars so you have something interesting to posit when it comes time to make a defense for you love of teh telez.  I mean, without those daydreams and fantasies of yours, you would have very little, in the ways of substance, to defend the fact that you like an instrument that is an abomination.  For shame Philly, for shame.  Daydreaming never got anybody anywhere, only action.  Go out to the Country & Western bars yourself instead of daydreaming about Roo and me frequenting them.
