My dad isn't a huge fan of mine, but he is glad that I'm covered in things of some artistic merit rather than wee celic bands or the nonsense that's masqueraded as "tribal".

Once I'd had stuff on my lower arms and on my neck he pretty much no longer cares, I mean I can;t really get any more visible other than my face. Now he just sighs

yeah i made sure to ask each of my parents before getting this, and they both had no problems with the idea. i even worked on the design a bit with my dad.

and just a point of interest... not saying i'll ever regret this tattoo... i don't think i ever will... but there's always the point of technology. in years to come, there could easily be more tattoo removal solutions besides laser surgery. not that anyone should get a tattoo hoping for advanced removal solutions in the future, but its a possibility. a lot will change in the next 25-50 years.

This is true.  I am excited, and yet at the same time mortally terrified.

hopefully things will go more toward the former than the latter...

my dad had his first a few months before i had mine, so he cant really complain... although he did seem a bit put out when mine was so much better

My mum just called me a tw@t but said she liked it anyway
