Hi,
have a blast thru a parker fly - they have ss frets as far as i remember. They dont have the same buttery feel that super polished nickel silver does, but they have their own thing - its personal choice like everything else i guess.
this week I've just refretted a beaut old lp custom and a taylor, I was expecting the lp to be the more difficult (chippy fret boards are the main issue when re-fretting in my book) but the taylor was far worse. Still, both worked out fine.
Its a great opportunity to have the fret board re-radiused if it isn't quite the way you'd like it, or just tidied up (the lp radius was all over the place) or have the shoulders slightly rounded etc. I've found that once customers realised they can have a cutom shaped neck to fit their hand (f-board and back of neck) - and they try it out - they want all their non-vintage stuff done. I did it to my own strat years ago and there's nothing quite like it!
Feline's work looks fantastic, if posting the neck alone there's pretty much zero chance of any damage in transit,
all the best,
steve
