i agree on the finish thing, thickness is more important than type... most times i dont mind as long as its thin and done well and PRS are number 1 in that respect

I like the feel/look of nitro and the way it ages, but I've never been convinced the type of finish can significantly affect the tone.  Some guitars look good with a more "perfect", glossy finish.

I'm liking this PRS very much.  I find that I either love or hate the look of PRS guitars, there's none that I think of as just ok.  The plain top Mira I love but the flame top one looks so wrong to me.  Likewise I think this one looks great whereas the korina one looks awful.  Doesn't matter much though as I can't afford any of them at the moment  :(
