I just can't fully accept that you're gonna have to adjust your fretting a slight tad.

you do have to adjust a little - but didnt you have to adjust when switching from a 6 string to a 7, or even when switching from a strat to a les paul. 

i would say its easier than switching to a 7 string guitar, no  more difficult than switching from a strat to a LP

I'm sure my fretting has adjusted - but the point (for me at least) is that the adjustment is pretty much automatic and sub-conscious.  It wasn't something that I had to think about or work at, it just felt natural.

I understand where you're coming from, and owning and seven string I understand the 'wet fart' effect. I just can't fully accept that you're gonna have to adjust your fretting a slight tad.
