Trouble is I have been offered a (used) Stingray for a fantastic price but I really want a five string, or do I?
I went for the Musicman, I think for the price I made the right decision and it turns out that it used to belong to the bass player I was in a band with years ago.
^ And that is always my (financial downfall) although it was a great deal it still wasn't cheap for a 'second' instrument but once I start looking into things I always end up spending more then I intended, whoops!!!!
if you look for EXTREME playability you should buy a jazz, though. shorter scale makes it more guitarist friendly... :)

It has the standard 34" scale length. :? It is a bit narrower at the nut than a Precision, but I'm not sure if that makes it any easier to play.
