the painkiller isn't as compressed as one might imagine. it should be a good choice.

If you're a Nile fan, as your username suggests, you really can't go wrong with the ceramic Warpig. That is the ultimate death metal pickup IMO. Extremely brutal and sinister tone, and a great match for guitars with maple necks and ebony fingerboards. The PK is great too but that's more bright and IMO well suited for slightly darker guitars.
