I have heard the Fender blues deluxe reissue which looks similar to the cornell but is 40w is this the sorta sound the romany gets as I did like the tone?
yeah, i think so. it's a while since i tried the blues deluxe, but the cornell is certainly "fendery". But better, if you ask me, anyway.
The Cornford's are much more suited to a bit of overdrive/distortion than the Romany.
agreed. well, a more modern distortion- the romany sounded pretty sweet cranked up, from what i can remember. just a completely different style of overdrive. :)
 both amps are very good. they are different beasts though.
i have to agree with dave_mc. I own a cornford carerra and its a great amp, It does slightly heavier stuff and blues stuff v well but i still yern for a rich fender sound and would like a cornell in the future as well. If you can pick up a new mint carerra for @600 or harly for 350-400 id get one.
If you want the more fender type sound for home use the cornell is the best around and worth the extra for the plus for larger speaker etc.
Have your tried them yet?
also agreed (even though you agreed with me  you added a bit more useful info, though). I'm not sure if the cornell is the best around, but it's the best I've tried.
