This is a bit of a strange one. I bought this guitar on eBay at the weekend, and it arrived this morning. It's my first guitar actually equipped with BKPs, and probably a bit of a strange guitar to have BKPs fitted!
First, the pics.
It's not quite as orange as the first couple of pics suggest - the better colour representation is the 3rd pic.

So far, I guess most people are thinking ... so what. A "Richwood". Hmmmm. Alleged retail c£400. I've only ever seen them on eBay.
The third pic shows the reason that I was interested in it ...

The eBay listing didn't really emphasise the p'ups, and I stumbled across it while just killing (wasting) some time on-line. TBH, I was a bit wary. The seller had little feedback (though what he had was positive) and he wanted payment by cheque rather than PayPal. He was also unusually offering free delivery.
But it had £190-worth of BKPs, plus upgraded pots, plus a hardcase, plus a little headphone amp, AND he included the original p'ups & pots. Oh, and it had had a full (and, as turns out, very good) set-up.
So I was tempted enough to bid enough to win it without paying a silly price!
It arrived this morning, bang-on schedule, packed better than anything I've ever seen before, and it sounds pretty damn good through my little Epi Jr. The BKPs are everything that I'd hoped for. The actual instrument isn't half bad either (though a little bling with all the MoP (?) inlays and gold hardware), with good solid tuners, a perfectly straight and playable neck and a good balance. Korean made, which I guess is generally one step up from Chinese made.
My original plan was to harvest the BKPs, put it back to original components and sell it on ... but now I'm not so sure ... I may just have to keep it.
