seriously debating picking up an Uberschall

I think there are better high gain heads out there. Unless you've played one and really really want it/prefer it over your Mesa

Yeah the 20th Anniv. editions of Shiva, XTC and Ueber all have major changes.

For the Ueber I think it's KT88s instead of EL34s, a completely redesigned "Clean" channel and a reworked Master section.

im into the master controls.
looks a little bit for versatile than the older uberschall

nope. VH4 is a bit much.

the Uber was great when I tried it, but I liked the VH4 much more and didn't think it was a complicated amp - very easy to dial in and much more versatile.

I think less is more when it comes to amps.
hence why i like my avenger. single channel, no loop, in and out.
a good 2 channel amp would be fine. i was thinking splawn but im not so sure really.
